Newtown Mom is a Finalist in Martha Stewart's 'American Made' Contest

Yolie Moreno has a chance to win $10,000 in the Martha Stewart American Made contest. She is a finalist page for her innovative cookie sheet design which will help her get started producing her product.

Yolie told Newtown Patch:

“I am a Newtown resident and mother of an 11-year-old. I invented “One Smart Cookie” to solve a basic and annoying cookie baking problem. My hope is that this product will become THE Cookie Cutter Game Changer and that it will inspire more people to bake cookies! My life goal is to have enough money to become a full-time philanthropist.”
