Some of the recent arrests made by Newtown Police.

NEWTOWN, CT — Below are some of the recent arrests by Newtown Police in late November and early December.
- Monica Maciog, 38, of Monroe was arrested after she was found driving under a suspended license while in possession of heroin Nov. 26, according to police. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving without insurance and registration, driving under a suspended license and two counts of failure to appear.
- Augustine O'Brien-Costantino, 25, of Pawling, NY was arrested Dec. 1 after a domestic incident. He was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening.
- Diane Manning of Oxford was arrested Nov. 26 and charged with DUI and evading responsibility after a crash on Berkshire Road.
- Angel Rodriguez, 68, of Danbury was charged with DUI and evading responsibility Nov. 19 after he was seen driving his Ford Mustang at about 10 mph on Mt. Pleasant Road, police said. Police had gotten complaints about an erratic driver on I-84 earlier. The car had also hit a sign prior an officer pulling it over, according to police.
