NEWTOWN, CT — Police saved a man's life on Monday, administering Narcan.

At around 11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Huntingtown Road and Meadowbrook Road. When they arrived on the scene they found that one car had driven up onto the front lawn of a residence and then proceeded to flee the area, prior to police arrival. Police found the vehicle parked in the middle of Castle Meadow Road with the car still in gear.

Police say that the driver, a man in his early 20s, was slumped and unresponsive in the driver's seat of the car. Suspecting a possible drug overdose, police administered Narcan, saving the man's life.
