Newtown Victim Family Lawyer Accuses Town of Unnecessary Legal Moves
The lawyer representing two families of children who died in the shooting said the town is using strange legal wrangling moves.

The lawyer for two Newtown families suing the town and school system over the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting said Newtown is making unusual and unnecessary court filing requests.
Attorney Donald Papcsy told the Connecticut Law Tribune that Newtown sought to subpoena a state marshal for deposition to determine whether the suit was filed before the two year statute of limitations.
He is representing the parents of Jesse Lewis and Noah Pozner, two children who were killed in the incident. The families have filed a wrongful death suit.

He also accused the town of impeding the discovery process for information and said his requests have gone unanswered. Newtown officials didn’t answer Associated Press requests for comment.
