Newtown's Marko Saric Promoted To Captain In National Guard
A Newtown National Guard soldier has received a new rank and new responsibilities.
NEWTOWN, CT - From New York National Guard: Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the recent promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.
Marko Saric from Newtown, Conn. and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1-258th Field Artillery received a promotion to the rank of Captain.
Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.
