PD: Man Tried to Use Fake Prescription at Newtown Pharmacy

The pharmacy suspected the prescription was forged and officers determined that it was.

NEWTOWN, CT- An Ansonia man was arrested after he allegedly tried to use a fake prescription at Newtown Pharmacy.

Police were called to the pharmacy on Feb. 26 for a possible forged prescription.

Officers determined it was forged and Joshua Anderson 30, was arrested and charged with illegal use of a forged prescription and second-degree forgery.

He was released on a $1,000 bond and is due in court March 9.
