PD: Sandy Hook Women Stole $1k in Merchandise from Fairfield Kohl's

The pair allegedly concealed items and left the store, but police quickly captured them.

Two women were arrested by Fairfield Police after they allegedly stole $1,000 in merchandise from the Kohl’s department store in Fairfield.

The pair allegedly concealed $1,000 worth of merchandise and left the store, according to the Fairfield Citizen. They were stopped by police on Black Rock Turnpike.

Maria Agular, 34, of Sandy Hook and Simfane Morris, 26, of Stratford were charged with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy.

Morris was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and misuse of license plates after police found anti-anxiety pills without a prescription.
