On May 11, Paul Kevin Sheer, Jr., 23,  Swamp Road, Newtown, was charged with third degree assault, threatening in the second degree and disorderly conduct.  Scheer was released on a $5,000 surety bond and appeared in court on May 14, in Danbury Superior Court.

On May 9, Josh Glassman, 43, of Buck Trail, Newtown, was charged with breach of peace, threatening and larceny in the sixth degree after he turned himself in.  Glassman’s arrest was based on an outstanding warrant.  In mid-January, Glassman entered into a dispute at the Newtown Youth Academy, based on an October 30, 2011 incident in which Glassman took a cell phone that did not belong to him, and he did not return it to the owner.  Glassman was released on a promise to appear and given the court date of May 23.

On May 8, Robert Manfredonia, 46,  Turkey Hill Terrace turned himself into the Newtown Police Department on an outstanding arrest warrant for breach of peace and harassment.  The charges stem from a dispute that took place in mid-January at the Newtown Youth Academy, and from text messages that were sent by Manfredonia on February 17, 2012.
