Police Investigate Theft of Watercraft from Newtown Dock

NEWTOWN, CT — Police are investigating the theft of a personal watercraft from a residential boat dock, the News-Times is reporting.

On Aug. 18, a resident of 10 Lake Road reported that a 2017 Sea-Doo GTR 230 had been stolen from his boat dock. Investigators determined that vehicle had been taken during the overnight hours of Aug. 11-12.

The watercraft is a black and blue, jet-propelled, with a vessel number of CT-6232-BF.

In April, Brookfield police investigated the theft of two Sea-Doo jet skis and a two-place trailer.
