Police: Newtown Man Brings Kids to Bar, Gets Arrested
The children were not dressed for the 35-degree weather.

A Newtown man took his pre-teen children to a bar and was arrested over the weekend.
An article on wtnh.com said Glen White was asked to leave a Willimantic bar Saturday because he was allegedly drunk. He had his 8- and 11-year-old children, who were underdressed for the cold weather, with him.
When he attempted to drive himself and his children home around 2 a.m., the police were called.

News 8 said White was arrested and was held on a $5,000 bond and will appear in court Tuesday.
The children were being cared for by the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, the article said.
