Reminder: Ricci's Salon's Cut-a-Thon for 22-Year-Old Paralyzed Army Vet is May 15
Stylists are donating their time to raise funds for a handicap-accessible house to be built through the Homes For Our Troops nonprofit.

NEWTOWN, CT-- Ricci’s Salon & Spa of Newtown is holding a Cut-a-Thon on Sunday, May 15 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Ricci’s Salon & Spa, 99 South Main Street; Newtown, South Marketplace Plaza.
The fundraiser for a 22 year-old Army Ranger to receive a custom handicap-accessible house to be built for him through Homes For Our Troops, a national nonprofit.
The Army Ranger, Sean Pesce, is from West Haven, Connecticut and returned from Afghanistan with life-altering injuries. Pesce was shot 13 times, sustaining damage to several major organs, with one bullet severing his spine. He is now permanently paralyzed from the waist down.
Ricci's is offering the follow specials on Sunday, May 15:
- Men’s Barber cuts - $20
- Women’s haircut & blow-dry- $25
- Women who are don’t need a cut can get a blow-dry for $15
