Ricci's Salon and Spa Holds 'Cut-a-Thon' Fundraiser

This is a state-wide fundraiser and we help from other towns signing on for haircuts.

Sean Pesce is a 22 year-old Army Ranger from West Haven who is on the wait list for a handicap house through Homes For Our Troops. Pesce was shot 13 times and is now paralyzed from the waist-down.

Ricci’s Salon & Spa of Newtown, CT is holding a Cut-a-Thon on Sunday, May 15, 2016. 10 am – 4 pm.

This is a fundraiser for a 22 year-old Army Ranger from West Haven, Connecticut, who has returned from Afghanistan with life-altering injuries to receive a custom handicap house through Homes For Our Troops. Homes For Our Troops is a national nonprofit which builds handicap houses for young disabled military, at no cost to the solider.

All hairstylists are donating their time for free to help raise money for Sean Pesce’s house to be built in West Haven, CT. SPC Pesce was shot 13 times, sustaining damage to several major organs, with one bullet severing his spine. Pesce is now permanently paralyzed from the waist-down.

Men’s Barber haircuts - $20, women’s haircut & blow-dry- $25, women who don’t need a cut but want to donate, can get their hair blow-dried - $15
