Sandy Hook Families Seek to Question Alex Jones in Pretrial

They say they don't want him to try and 'run out the clock' during the trial

NEWTOWN, CT — A state Superior Court judge could rule on Thursday whether to grant the request of eight Newtown families’ to interview InfoWars host Alex Jones, the News Times is reporting.

Lawyers for the families, who have filed defamation suits against Jones, have made the request as part of the pretrial phase. The families seek to prevent Jones from giving “long, nonresponsive answers (that) would allow him to run out the clock.”

Jones' attorney has previously requested that the case be moved as far as possible away from Sandy Hook, where here he does not believe the talk show host can receive a fair trial.
