Low pressure forms over eastern Virginia and moves towards NYC for the first half of the weekend bringing significant moisture throughout New England. As the system pushes into southern Quebec, a drier but a cold return flow of air sets up for the remainder of the weekend into next week. Midweek, a summer type southwesterly flow sets up for the Eastern Seaboard until the end of the week when a cold front approaches the Northeast.
