Southwesterly flow over the eastern third of the country with increasing moisture into the weekend. Low pressure forms over New York and moves through New England for the first part of the weekend. Second half of the weekend and into early next week, the low moves into the Canadian Maritimes dragging cooler air into the Northeast.
