North/South oriented stationary front dissecting New England. Cold front reaching from western Quebec to central Texas. High pressure dominates the West while a new cold front over central Canada heading towards the Upper Midwest.

Moisture builds ahead of a cold front moving through the Northeast with a drying process through mid week. Reinforcing cold front delivers unseasonably cool air to New England, especially to northern New England over the weekend. Flow reverts back to a summertime flow for early next week over the Northeast.
