Bermuda high pressure holds its grip on the Southeast while low pressure moves up along a frontal system through the St. Lawrence Valley. This low pressure system drags a Canadian cold front across the Northeast for the weekend with much cooler and drier air. Cool Canadian air is reinforced early next week with passing waves. High pressure off the Atlantic Seaboard builds another warm up for the end of next week.
