Today's Weather: Low Pressure moving across western PA and NY is delivering snow to central and northern New England with rain across southern New England. The rest of the country is tranquil with a Polar Front invading the Upper Midwest from central Canada. A newly formed Aleutian Low off the Anchorage Coast is pushing a steady stream of moisture into the rainforest of the Inland Waterway of AK. Coldest temperatures are from the Yukon to Nunavut, -39F.

The GFS pushes the small storm over the Northeast out to sea as it weakens today and tonight. Behind it, a new flow of colder air seeps into NY and New England with a new Alberta Clipper moving over the Upper Great Lakes by the end of the week. The Clipper moves across northern New England this weekend delivering light snow Saturday and Sunday with colder air for early next week.

By mid week, the GFS moves high pressure off the Mid Atlantic Coast setting up the Northeast with a mild flow of southerly air.
