The GFS moves heavy rain and wind into southern New England this evening as the Midwestern storm tracks northeastward. Overnight and Thursday, the storm moves into central Quebec pulling colder air back into the Northeast Thursday night and Friday, with lake and snow showers across NY and northern New England. Over the weekend, another storm forms over Missouri and tracks eastward. The GFS continues to weaken this storm as it moves eastward and then out to sea, leaving the Northeast with a cold but tranquil weekend.
