Today's Weather: Strong low pressure over Prince Edward Island is creating very windy conditions across the Northeast with snow over Aroostook Maine and snow showers from the Adirondacks to the Berkshires. A second low over eastern Kansas is delivering mainly snow and some rain from Ohio to Iowa. And a third low pressure system over Arizona is producing rain and snow across the state into New Mexico.

The GFS continues to move the low pressure area over eastern Canada northeastward towards western Greenland with windy conditions and snow showers continuing for New York and New England. The second storm over Kansas moves eastward but is absorbed by the big storm over Canada. The third storm over AZ moves eastward and dissipates but reforms over the Florida Panhandle on Sunday which then intensifies off the South Carolina coast Monday. That storm then moves out to sea.
An Alberta Clipper swipes the Upper Great Lakes and strengthens over central Ontario and Quebec which pulls down a reinforcement of Arctic air over the Upper Plains to northern New England by mid week. At the end of the week, low pressure forms over western KS and heads to Ontario. The air flow over the two eastern quadrants of the low sends very mild air Northeastward with the 1000-500mb thickness reaching over 5580 meters. That means very mild, even warm temperatures from southern New England down the Mid Atlantic Coast.
Perhaps by then, the month of March may decide to stop breaking promises of Spring.
