Current Weather: Fair weather stretches across the eastern two thirds of the country with a digging trough off the West Coast causing cold stormy weather from the Rockies to the Pacific.

Storm systems in the Western part of the country continue to produce stormy weather in the West into the weekend, and at the same time pushes mild air into the Northeast well into Quebec over the weekend. Sunday, into Monday morning a strong cold front invades the East with heavy rain and thunderstorms up and down the Eastern Seaboard. However, the GFS brings warm air back into the Northeast by midweek but with another shot of cold air for the Northeast for the Spring Equinox.
