Current Weather: Fair weather stretches across the eastern two thirds of the nation. Low pressure over northern MI, Wyoming and Colorado is producing snow from MN to the Rockies. A large storm system over northern Hudson's Bay is sweeping cold air from the Arctic to northern Yukon, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Coldest air is over central Saskatchewan, -35F.

Low pressure moves from the Rockies to Upper Michigan and into Quebec, sweeping mild air up the Eastern Seaboard through mid week. A series of disturbances continues to produce snow and rain across the Pacific Northwest. At week's end low pressure forms off the Jersey Shore bringing rain to New England with snow/rain in the high elevations from the White Mountains to the Catskills. The system moves offshore for the weekend, with another frontal system arriving across the Northeast early next week.
