Frontal system over the Great Lakes passes through New England Saturday evening with scattered showers and snow showers over the higher terrain of the Green and White Mountains. At the end of the weekend and into the beginning of next week a return flow sets up as another frontal system approaches from the Great Lakes. The system spreads light rain/snow for New England and New York into mid week with a reinforcement of cold air arriving for the end of next week.
