Current Weather: Rain/snow/sleet showers over the Green and White Mountains with showers stretching from central and southern New England through to PA as a warm front forms from VA to IN. A second series of lows are producing rain over east Texas and Oklahoma and snow from west Texas to New Mexico.

The GFS pushes moisture and milder air over the Northeast for the second half of the weekend with colder air set up to re-enter New England early next week as another cold front approaches from Ontario and Quebec. The frontal system stalls along the southern New England coast sending waves of moisture for the beginning of next week with another cold core of air sweeping through the Northeast for mid week.
