Current Weather: Frontal system in the form of a cold front stretches from low pressure over Lake Huron to Nebraska and then in the form of a quasi stationary front to Alberta.
A second frontal system in the Southeast is spawning widespread showers and thundershowers.
Intense low pressure west of Banks Island is streaming relatively mild southerly air reaching from the Dakotas to north of the Arctic Circle in central Canada.
Coldest air is located over Arctic Bay, Canada; -11F.

GFS tracks an eastern Canadian cold front with a cold flow through the Northeast until late in the week. At the end of the week, low pressure is progged to move into western New York delivering moisture for the weekend.
