Current Weather: Low pressure forming over NC and VA in conjunction with high pressure off the Canadian Maritimes is pushing moisture ashore from Maine to North Carolina with a rain/snow mix over New England. Weak frontal system over the Northern Rockies is creating widely scattered rain and snow showers.

A weak coastal low forms off the Mid Atlantic States and tracks towards Cape Cod while a second storm system forms over Nebraska and tracks eastward. The first low delivers cool moist air for the Northeast during the first half of the weekend, while the midwestern low pushes moist mild air into the Northeast early next week. Another cold front dipping out of central Canada brings another surge of colder air by mid week.
