Low pressure over the Canadian Maritimes keeps the Northeast in a cold flow until the end of the week when a mild return flow of warm air sets up for the weekend. A stationary front stalled over southeast Ontario shows moisture southeast of the front sparking showers from PA to ME. Mid next week a coastal low forms off of Cape Cod to Nova Scotia deliver cooler air with scattered rain for New England.
