Current Weather: Southwesterly flow over the eastern third of the country sifting mild air into the Northeast. A frontal system stretching from just south of Hudson's Bay through Texas up to Colorado is producing spring snows in the Rockies.
Several large storms over Northwest Canada are driving a strong mild southerly flow northward towards the Arctic in typical Spring fashion.

Backdoor cold front penetrates to Central New England but is repulsed by an advancing warm flow of air circulating around low pressure over the Great Lakes. Moist mild air holds into mid week.
