Current Weather: High pressure off the Eastern Seaboard in combination with Low pressure over the Great Lakes is providing a steady stream of warm air from Alabama to Maine. Showers and thunder showers stretch from the Maine-Canadian Border to Central Texas along a cold front.
Low pressure moving inland over Washington State is producing scattered rain with some snow over Glacier National Park.

Strong low pressure continues to pump milder air into Northwestern Canada into the Arctic as the Artic spring thaw continues. Warm front over the Canadian-New England/New York border transforms into a Backdoor Cold Front and makes its way southward into Central New England the second half of the weekend.
Low pressure moves from the country's Heartland to the Great Lakes delivering badly needed rain to the Farm Belt. This storm pushes eastward repelling any cold air over northern New England/New York back into Canada with showers from early to mid next week. Things dry out for the Northeast but mild air remains from mid week to next weekend.
