Current Weather: Cold front off the coast of New England stretching to Texas (farther south than earlier GFS predictions). High pressure centered over the Great Lakes and a frontal system stretching from Manitoba to San Francisco. Rain over the Heartland and showers over the Northern Rockies.

GFS reverses the cold front off the New England coast into a warm front over the Northeast as low pressure moves from the Heartland to Quebec and weakens by mid week. Weather pattern goes into a Zonal Flow through the week which translates into a west to east flow of weather across the country. This normally indicates a relatively quiet weather pattern.
