Current Weather: High pressure over VT with Low pressure over Wisconsin and a warm front stretching eastward to the Mid Atlantic States. Disjointed frontal system over the Rockies.
Radar shows a swath of snow from northwest Wisconsin into central Ontario with rain southward over the Great Lakes and line showers and line of showers from Lake Erie to Texas. Scattered showers and snow showers from northern Utah to Seattle.
Coldest air is located over Herschel Island; -6F.

GFS pushes milder air with a series of moist patches passing over the Northeast through the week as a zonal flow sets up across the country. Next weekend a new low forms in the Heartland and moves northeastward into Canada via Minnesota delivering more needed rain to the Upper Midwest.
