A string of unorganized low pressure areas along a frontal system from North Dakota through the Heartland and then stretching to Nevada.

Occlusion in the East dissolves and a southwesterly flow of mild air continues for the East through the week. Unorganized low pressure drifts eastward out the Heartland and reaches the Northeast bringing moisture for the weekend. Colder air returns to the Northeast for the second half of the weekend, but is quickly replaced by a warm flow early next week.
