Cold front stalls over the Northeast while high pressure moves off the Canadian Maritimes resulting in an onshore flow of moisture over PA, NY and New England that persists into mid week. Low pressure forms over north central Texas which delivers a wide swath of rain from Alabama to Colorado. By the end of the week cooler air attempts to dip back into the Northeast.
