Stationary front meanders over the Northeast feeding cool moist air off the North Atlantic through the week. A series of disorganized disturbances delivers showers over the central and southern Rockies with a second compact disturbance that moves across the Gulf States then dissipates. Things dry out for the Northeast next weekend followed by a surge of warmer air.
