High pressure moving off the New England coast maintains an onshore flow of moist Atlantic air through the end of the week. Low pressure forms over the Jersey shore during the first half of the weekend and moves off the New England Coast at the end of the weekend. Early next week, as high pressure forms over the Northeast drier, milder air works its way northeastward.
