Current Weather: Occluded low pressure over the Canadian Maritime with a cold front stretching from central New England to Missouri. Weak low pressure over the lower Mississippi Valley. Frontal system with waves winds from southern MN to south central Canada then down to northern California.
Precipitation: Showers and thunderstorms over the Carolinas, Georgia and Alabama. Light rain over the lower Mississippi Valley. Scattered showers over the northern Rockies to the Pacific Northwest.

Cold front over New England stalls, moves northward and dissipates. High pressure slides off the Eastern Seaboard with the clockwise flow pushing warmer and moist air over the Southeast through mid week. By the end of the week, the warm moist air reaches the Northeast producing widely scattered showers mostly diurnal in nature.
