Where to Watch the Super Bowl
Millions of television sets will be tuned to the Super Bowl game. Where will you be?
The Super Bowl, which will be shown on CBS, promises to be a thriller between the New York Giants and New England Patriots at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. While millions will watch the big game at home, others will venture out to bars or restaurants, several of which are offering specials.
Below are some of the specials in Newtown Patch has dug up:
- This popular restaurant will offer a $40 special consisting of two large cheese pizzas, two dozen wings and two 2-liter bottles of soda. The bar, which carries specialized beers, also is expected to be busy.
- : This establishment on South Main Street is offering beer specials – $2 for a domestic, $3 for premium – and $.50 wings and $4 roast beef sandwiches. Eat in only.
