• Man choked juvenile, threw water bottle in North Branford home, warrant says (ctpost.com) — North Branford police charged a New Hampshire man after a juvenile reported escalating verbal and physical abuse in a North Branford-area home, including a choke hold and being hit with a water bottle. Authorities say the youth's disclosure to a local food pantry contact and supporting video led to the man's extradition to Connecticut; he's due in New Haven court Sept. 10.
