NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Friday, residents have the opportunity to thank first responders for their service and learn more about their jobs.
Described as "heroes who take care of us everyday," Local Heroes Night at the STW Community Center is a chance to meet first responders, learn about their jobs, and explore their vehicles and equipment.
The event begins with a sensory-friendly hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Blue, green, and yellow envelopes are available.
The event opens to the general public at 6 p.m.
The STW Community Center is located at 1332 Middletown Ave. in Northford.
