Free Face Mask Distribution To Be Held In North Branford

The town will distribute free face masks for North Branford and Northford residents at a drive-thru event on Saturday.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — The town of North Branford will distribute a “large quantity” of free protective masks to residents of North Branford and Northford this weekend, officials announced. The drive-thru event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., or while supplies last, on Saturday, May 16 at North Branford High School. Entry will be allowed only from Foxon Road (Route 80).

“Residents are required to provide proof of residency after entering the North Branford High School lot,” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “Masks will be issued as a package of 10 to each driver, please approach the distribution point with your rear window down and they will be placed on the rear seat.

“With more businesses scheduled to open on May 20th, and State requirements regarding the use of facial coverings in public spaces, this is an opportunity to ensure all residents have access to this vital personal protective equipment.
