The arts, crafts and home supplies superstore chain has submitted its site plans for a new store along Frontage Road in East Haven — the first for the company in Connecticut.

After , Hobby Lobby — an arts, crafts and home supplies superstore chain — will be opening a new store later this year in the former HomeGoods location along Frontage Road in East Haven.
The Oklahoma City-based company has just submitted plans to ready the space for their new store, Art DeSorbo, the town's economic development coordinator, told Patch.
The site plan submission to the town's Building Department follows the in May to rent out the now-vacant retail storefront space in the TJ Max Shopping Center.
