North Branford First Responders Honored at Dinner
This was the second annual Honoring Shoreline Heroes dinner.

Thirteen fire and police officials were celebrated for their service at the second annual Honoring Shoreline Heroes dinner Wednesday.
According to an article in the New Haven Register, honored were fire and police departments in Branford, Guilford and North Branford. They were given plaques and certificates and treated to dinner and musical performance.
From Branford, the honorees were Firefighter Eugene Hayes, Volunteer Deputy Fire Chief Timothy Murray, Officer Josef Herten and Officer Marc Andrew. Retired Fire Chief Jack Ahern was given the Special Distinguished Award, the Register reported.

From Guilford, Fire Captain Michael Shove, Deputy Fire Chief Robert Auger and Detective Martina Jakober were honored. Former Guilford Police Chief Thomas A. Terribile was given the Special Distinguished Award.
Firefighters Kyle Conklin and Alexander Shamp and Officers Brian Hannon and Mario Bernardo were honorees from North Branford.

The event was held at The Woodwinds in Branford and was sponsored by the Branford Exchange Club.
