North Branford Man, 62, Hit By Truck In Nov. Dies From Injuries: PD
Gary Gamache was struck by a pickup truck in the Central Plaza parking lot on Nov. 22. He died at Yale New Haven Hospital Tuesday, per PD.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT —Police announced that a North Branford man died Tuesday at Yale New Haven Hospital from injures he suffered in a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on Nov. 22.
Gary Gamache, 62, was struck by a pickup truck in the Central Plaza parking lot, 280 Branford Road. When police arrived, they found Gamache had been struck after walking out of a plaza business, North Branford police said at the time.
Emergency responders "immediately performed life-saving measures," police said then, and he was transported to the hospital, where he was then listed in critical condition.

The operator of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with law enforcement, police said then.
"Our heart goes out to Gary's family, friends and all those effected by this tragedy," police wrote on Facebook.
