Northford Man Charged With Shoplifting At Kohl's: Orange Police

Police say loss prevention staff detained the person until police arrived.

ORANGE, CT — A Northford man is accused of stealing $135 worth of merchandise from Kohl's, Orange police said. On Sept. 14, officers responded to the 250 Bull Hill Lane store for a reported shoplifting, police said.

Kohl's loss prevention officers had Steven L. Jefferson, 29, of Northford, detained at the store, police said. Officer's investigation revealed that Jefferson stole $135 worth of merchandise, police said. He was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
