📰 News we're reading
• Man Charged In Burglary After Cellphone Left At Scene: North Branford Police (patch.com) — North Branford police have charged a Hartford man after a cellphone left near a fleeing vehicle helped detectives link him to a November burglary attempt at a Northford home. Investigators say suspects tried to steal both a dirt bike and a pickup truck, and officers are now urging North Branford residents selling high-value items online to use the department's designated safe exchange location instead of their homes.

• I-Team: North Branford family scammed twice, detectives make arrests in both cases (wfsb.com) — North Branford residents are being warned about increasingly sophisticated scams after local detectives solved multiple fraud cases, including thefts from a beloved scholarship fund and elderly victims.
