Police ID Victim in Fatal North Branford Crash
Witnesses to the crash are asked to call police.
Police say the man killed when two vehicles collided last week on Route 22 in North Branford was Richard N. Prouty, 66, of West Haven.
Prouty died at Yale-New Haven Hospital from the injuries he suffered in the Dec. 16 accident, North Branford Police Lt. Gary Ripa said in a press release Monday, according to the New Haven Register.
The black Nissan Sentra he was driving collided with another car on Route 22 (Forest Road) near the intersection with Tommy’s Path.
