'Rumors' Of Threats Targeting North Branford Schools Investigated

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Last week "rumors" surfaced in town that two schools were threatened but a top school official told Fox 61 that there was no substance to the reports.

The rumor centered on a social media post indicating a student allegedly planned to "shoot up the high school and middle school," Fox 61 reports.

Police and school officials investigated the report but found nothing to back it up, Fox reports. Some parents are still concerned though.
