3rd Arrest Made In Prostitution Case: North Haven Police
Police say a third person has been arrested in connection with a prostitution case that was originally reported as a robbery at Best Western

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A third person has been arrested on charges related to prostitution from an incident that was originally reported as a robbery at the Best Western in North Haven last month.
North Haven Police responded to Best Western on Washington Avenue on Dec. 11 on the report of a robbery. Police said the investigation revealed that robbery charges could not be supported and the incident revolved around a suspected prostitution arrangement.
Edgar Encalada, 48, of Branford, was arrested Friday on charges of patronizing a prostitute and second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $2,500 court-set bond.

Shy'Asia Chadd and Alexis Hernandez were arrested in December for the incident.
