Police emphasized their ongoing commitment to protecting North Haven's youth and collaborating with other agencies to pursue such cases.
   

• Connecticut Man Arrested After Street Takeover Crossed Several New Haven County Towns, With Police Seizing a Motorcycle and Charging Him With Pursuit and Reckless Driving (centralrecorder.com) — North Haven police say a 29-year-old man has been arrested after a fast-moving street takeover involving motorcycles, scooters, and off-road vehicles crossed several New Haven County towns Friday night. Officers describe a rider abandoning a motorcycle and hopping onto another bike during an attempted escape, with the seized motorcycle helping investigators tie the suspect to the incident. Police are still investigating and haven't ruled out additional arrests.
