Former Agway Property Sold In North Haven (patch.com) โ North Haven readers will see a familiar State Street landmark getting new life, as the former Smithland Supply/Agway Pet & Garden Center has been sold to locally based National Lumber for $1.8 million. The 18,000-square-foot property at 66 State Street expands National Lumber's North Haven footprint and could bring new building-related services to the busy Route 5 commercial corridor near I-91.

Man, 74, Sentenced In Sexual Assault Of Minor In North Haven: Officials (patch.com) โ A Stratford man has been sentenced for sexually assaulting a young minor in North Haven, receiving a 10-year sentence with five years to serve, plus a decade of probation and sex offender registration. North Haven police originally brought the charges, and prosecutors say the victim's courage in coming forward was recognized in court as the judge noted the wide impact of the crime.
